Canella, paintings, sculpture March 2009.
| Our small wine cellar - Exposition |

After having spent her life fulfilling her need for creativity in the field of dancing, producing several classical ballets with her students, Madame Canella is profiting from her recent retirement to pursue her artistic interest in painting.

Pastels, oils, sculpture and piano are her daily activities and give her as much pleasure as did her profession as dancing teacher. She can now take the time to observe flowers, an animal - in one word ‘nature'. To reproduce them on canvas gives her the tranquillity and serenity to which one aspires after a very active professional life.

Sculpture provides a direct contact with the material, be it stone or clay and painting makes it possible for her to put her emotions into colour. Madame Canella is, therefore, an amateur painter who puts much love into her work.
Her works have already been exhibited at the ‘Coupole' in St Loubès in 2007.
They will be exhibited throughout the month of March in the Cellier de la Bastide.
