Alain Wilette is an autodidact artist born in Arcachon on the 12th March 1962. He started to paint in 1978 and works principally with oils with a preference for glaze and ‘jus’. His plump figures transmit his identity. Though not from any art school, he comes from a family of painters, of which an ancestor, Adolph Wilette was known for his ‘Pierrots’ – caricatures of French mail, 1890 – listed on the art market.
Mme. Ader will also exhibit her works in August in the cooperative boutique.
